Free access to the toll bridge for electric vehicles
As of January 1, 2016, as part of the 2015–2020 action plan in transportation electrification of the Quebec government, electric vehicles equipped with an A30 Express transponder are not subjected to toll fees.
To take advantage of this exemption, an active transponder and an electric vehicle registered in Quebec are required. To receive your free transponder, come to the A30 Express offices with your vehicle’s registration certificate.
A30 Express accepts three different payment methods for an easy and quick drive through the tollbooth.
Transponder - No acquisition or service fee
The easiest and most efficient way to save time!
You only need to create an A30 Express account and we will send you a transponder in a matter of days. Once installed and activated, the transponder will allow you to drive through the tollbooth safely without stopping.
Your transponder gives you access to a reserved lane.
Debit cards
Debit cards are accepted in all open lanes except for the lane reserved exclusively for transponder users. The contacless payment option ("PayPass") is available in each lane.
Credit cards
Credit cards are accepted in all open lanes except for the lane reserved exclusively for transponder users. The contacless payment option ("PayPass") is available in each lane.
